I have been working a part-time design internship as well as continuing in the design program at school. I’ve also been dabbling in freelance work. In my free time I have been reading a lot, and trying to improve my knowledge of HTML and CSS. In order to improve these skills, I have decided to build a whole new website again. I will be coding this site from the ground up by hand, which I’ve never done before.

I am excited to break free from the limitations of Dreamweaver. The web continues to grow and create more and more work for designers. My goal is to embrace this—to compliment my knowledge of design asthetics with the most functional and efficent code possible. I hope this will open me up to a plethora of new work opportunites.

There were times when I hated web design, and I do still prefer doing print work. However, the time has come for me to accept the importance of vaild and clean coding. Wish me luck.
